Hello, my name is Joyce Byers. I am a happily married wife and mother of two boys, Nathaniel 11 and Wiley 8. Although, I'm originally from Billings,Montana, I was born in Rota, Spain. I met my husband while serving in the army at Fort Drum, NY. Presently I'm a substitute teacher in Greenbrier County. I hope one day to become a full-time teacher.
I love spending time with my family. We went on a wonderful family vacation to Gatlinsburg, TN. We didn't go to Dollywood, but did go to the Aquarium and other fun stuff! I asked my boys what they liked best about our vacation, the cabin or the Aquarium. The thing that they liked best were the go-carts. They loved racing with us and others. We all had a blast. Here is a movie of some of the things we saw and did on our vacation.
Guess what! After four years of substituting, as of July 13, 2010, I became a full-time teacher! I will be teaching preschool/headstart at Rupert Elementary. I'm very excited and have a lot of work to do to get ready for the up-coming school year. I can't wait for school to start!
